The pneumatically operated POLI series
of friction weld tools are compact and easy to use. With three versions
available for light, medium, or high tension, the POLI series can handle any
load requirement. The POLI tool is available for use with 13, 16, 19 mm. wide
polypropylene, and polyester strapping. The base plate is short, so, when
strapping on round (minimum diameter 20" /
50 cm
.), small or irregular surfaces,
its easier to remove the tool from the strapped package. Both straps are
inserted together and tensioning of the strap, the friction weld seal and the
strap cut-off are accomplished by pushing the respective operation buttons.
